This decorative pen holder is the perfect addition to your desk or work table or for the person on your gift list who enjoys the vibrant colors of spring! It would also be great for paint brushes or kitchen utensils.

The internal structure of this pen holder is a piece of pvc pipe with a custom polymer clay disc cut to fit the bottom. A background blend of gradiated green to blue polymer simulates the ground to sky color. Varying shades of green were used for the grass and leaves. A beautiful deep pink was used for the five petaled flowers. The smaller yellow flowers with orange centers add another touch of color. The design runs all the way around the pen holder. After the pen holder is cured, an acrylic glaze and gold highlights are added to bring out the details. A clear acrylic sealer is added to protect and bring out the richness of the textures.
